FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for testing the efficiency of lubricant-coolant at grinding. Specimen is clamped and ground with lubricant-coolant feed to moving slides located at flat grinder with secured force-measuring system for recording tangential grinding force components to be, then, tabulated. Grinding efficiency magnitude is defined as relationship of the sums of tangential components of grinding forces in one or several passes with reference and test lubricant-coolant. Lubricant-coolant efficiency is evaluated by grinding efficiency magnitude. The higher the said magnitude, the higher the lubricant-coolant efficiency.
EFFECT: higher precision, lower labour input.
