FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used in machining parts from hard brittle or hard-to-machine materials. Surface of processed part is grinded by means of cup-like grinding wheel passing through its central part and rotating at circumferential speed of not more than 500 m/min. Suspension drips from the tube periodically to the central part of the treated part and is sprayed in the form of mist when exposed to air until it hits the upper surface of the processed part.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of processing parts from hard brittle and hard-to-process materials.
