FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multilayer materials and relates to thermoformable multilayer films and blister packs made of them. The multilayer structure comprises a first polymeric layer having a first surface and a second surface, where the first polymeric layer comprises a metallised polyethylene terephthalate. The multilayer structure also comprises a second polymeric layer having a first surface and a second surface, where the first surface of the second polymeric layer is located adjacent the second surface of the first polymeric layer, the second polymeric layer comprises cyclic olefin or homopolymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene. The multilayer structure additionally comprises a third polymeric layer having a first surface and a second surface, where the first surface of the third polymeric layer is located adjacent to the second surface of the second polymeric layer. The third polymeric layer comprises polypropylene or polyvinyl chloride. Also the method of manufacturing a multilayer film structure and thermoformed blister pack is proposed.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of high-tech films having moisture resistant properties for use them in blister packs, including smokeless pressed tobacco articles.
