FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of spherical powders for small arms, including the smooth-bore sports and hunting weapons of 12, 16 and 20 gauge. The powder comprising nitrocellulose containing 212-214 ml of nitric oxide NO/g, diphenylamine, lead (II) - copper (II) phthalate oxide, black carbon and graphite, ethyl acetate and moisture, is formed with a bulk density of the powder elements of 0.59-0.71 kg/dm3 and the size of the powder elements of 0.2-0.4 mm.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction in weight of the powder charge of spherical powder, increase in the speed of small shot flight and reduction of muzzle pressure of powder gases at the weapon muzzle cut when firing.
