SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cleaning fitting (12) of a household electric device intended for surface treatment, the fitting containing a body (16) and a rotary rod brush (40) installed inside the body(16). Generated in the rod brush are the first (52) and the second multitudes (54), bristles of the latter projecting radially outwards outside those of the first multitude (52). The bristles of the second multitude (54) have specific surface resistance within the range of 1×10^-5 to 1×10¹² Ohm/square, which results in discharge of static electricity accumulated on the surface of the floor to be cleaned when the conductive bristles touch the floor.
