SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a drink making machine containing the following: a location, an ingredient holder that has a processing configuration and a movement configuration, and a service unit having a working position in the location and removed from the location. This drink making machine is also equipped with a mechanical shutoff device that determines the position of the service unit and prevents the transition of the ingredient holder to its processing configuration when the service unit is disengaged from its working position; and/or it mechanically determines the ingredient holder configuration and prevents the removal of the service unit from the position when the ingredient holder is in the processing configuration.

EFFECT: these improvements of the coffee making machine allow preventing incorrect operation of the machine and therefore its further failure.
