FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device (1) to accommodate cartridge (2) with ingredient and ingredient extraction via feed of heated fluid via cartridge has cartridge seat (10) and fluid delivery means (50, 60, 61, 70, 80, 81) into said seat. Cartridge seat has opposed first support (20) and second support (30). Said first and second supports are designed to displace relative to each other from open position for fitting the cartridge in the seat or for extracting it from the seat to closed position to allow heated fluid flow through said cartridge. At least one support (20) of supports (20, 30) is fluid driven and displaced by fluid delivery means. Fluid delivery means are designed to increase pressure and to circulate unheated fluid to at least one support (20) for actuation and displacement of said one support (20) by unheated fluid circulation at pressure. Saud unheated fluid at pressure is forced from one support (20) via heater (70) to cartridge seat (10) for extraction of ingredient contained therein.
