SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to machine building. Sheet metal cover for vehicle disk brake contains portion made in the form of dish to cover brake disk. On the side facing brake disk, at a distance from outer edge of sheet metal cover for disk, ring-shaped elevation is made as preliminary seal of wheel mount. Sheet metal cover for brake contains mounting flange passing in radial direction inside the ring-shaped elevation and serving for sheet metal cover for brake mounting on wheel support. The ring-shaped elevation is created by collar formed on the sheet metal cover for brake. Side surface of collar located radially on outer side goes into portion for brake disk closing, and side surface of collar located radially on inner side goes into mounting flange. The structure consists of wheel support, wheel mount and sheet metal cover for brake.
EFFECT: reduced contamination of wheel mount and thus increased durability.
