SUBSTANCE: motorized wheel of a vehicle contains an electric motor located on the wheel axis in a support mounted by means of bearings on the wheel hub, a planetary gearbox installed on the outer side of the wheel, and a brake mechanism located on the inner side of the wheel. The rotating part of the brake mechanism is connected to the hub. The motor housing is mounted in a support made with an outer flange and a rear wall. A cylindrical hole is made in the outer flange, intersecting at the periphery end, equally spaced grooves with threaded holes. The annular protrusion of the electric motor housing is centered in the cylindrical hole. A blind radial groove is made in the fist disk, located horizontally and adjacent to the rear wall of the support from the outside, forming a cavity. A brake caliper platform is installed in the cavity, secured with bolts.

EFFECT: durability of the motor-wheel increases.
