FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at thermal power plants (TPP) with condensing steam turbines, including those having an extraction for district heat supply. The invention proposes a low pressure part of a steam turbine, which includes an inlet pipeline with a control element and groups of low pressure stages with intermediate chambers, which are located in individual cylinders and connected to a condenser through exhaust connection pipes. The intermediate chambers before the last stages of one cylinder are connected to the exhaust connection pipe of the adjacent cylinder by means of a pipeline with a valve.

EFFECT: improving reliability and efficiency of a steam turbine at low steam consumptions in a low pressure cylinder due to reduction of ventilation heating of its flow part and elimination of adverse effects of the same heating.
