FIELD: heavy-power steam turbines. SUBSTANCE: turbine has single-flow high-pressure cylinders and intermediate-pressure cylinder with common composite shaft that has coupling and combined journal-thrust bearing. High-pressure and intermediate-pressure cylinders are mounted in opposing positions with their exhaust sections facing each other so as to take axial thrusts off the rotor. Cylindrical and flat surfaces of half-couplings function as journal thrust members of shaft engageable with respective members of combined journal-thrust bearing. Such design provides for reducing thrusts on bracing bolts of coupling and misalignment of shaft line supports as combined journal-thrust bearing placed between exhaust sections of cylinders and its foundation occur in relatively cool zone. EFFECT: improved reliability of turbine. 1 dwg
