FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low temperature additives for medium distillates, which are characterised by improved easiness in use at low temperatures, to method of improving characteristics of low temperature fluidity of liquid fuels and to liquid fuel. Low temperature additive contains the following components: (A) from 0.1 to 50 wt %, of at least, one, polyester of formula (A1), in which one of radicals R1-R4 represent linear C16-C40-alkyl or alkylenyl radical, an remaining radicals R1-R4 independently on each other represent hydrogen or alkyl radical, which contains from 1 to 3 C atoms, R5 represents connection C-C or alkylene radical, which contains from 1 to 6 C atoms, R16 represents hydrocarbonyl group, which contains from 2 to 10 carbon atoms, n represents integer number in the range from 1 to 100, m represents integer number in the range from 3 to 250, p constitutes 0 or 1, and q constitutes 0 or 1, B) from 1.5 to 73.5 wt % of, at least, one copolymer of ethylene and, at least, one ethylene-unsaturated ester, with said copolymer being characterised by melt fluidity according to measurement at 140°C, not higher than 5000 mPa·s, and C) at least, one organic solvent. Method of improving characteristics of low temperature fluidity of liquid fuels consists in the fact, that said additive is added to middle distillate. Liquid fuel contains meddle distillate and, at least, one low temperature additive.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain highly active additive with low temperature of fluidity loss, which increases characteristics of low temperature fluidity of middle distillates at minimal concentrations.
