FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine industry and is intended for determination of rational parameters of modes of wet cleaning of flow duct of gas-turbine engines (GTE) on a small-size test bench unit in factory (shop) conditions. The method includes the blowing by a jet of compressed air and supply of cleaning liquid. The rational parameters are determined on the small-size test bench unit, by placing of real samples in a mixing chamber, for example, cartridge of samples designed as a sector of vanes taken from the guide vanes of the compressor, with their pre-fixing on the end of the mixing chamber simulating a flowing part of the engine, while the air blowing of samples is performed at a speed equal to the speed of air flow in the flowing part of the engine in the mode of its operation intended for cleaning, with simultaneous supply into the cleaning liquid mixing chamber.

EFFECT: simplification of method eliminating cost intensive natural tests of real engines.
