FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine (GTE) overhaul method comprises the creation of rotation and resupplied reserve of recovered parts - modules, assemblies, assembly units remained after replacement from earlier repaired engines, which are used for replacement in an engine to be repaired. Note here that overhauled engine is tested for influence of climatic effects on major performances of the compressor. Tests are performed with measurement of the engine performance in various modes. The batch overhaul method, and also the gas turbine engine repaired according to the present method are also presented.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce labour costs, power consumption and duration of overhaul, improve operational quality and veracity of identification of climatic conditions effect on change of GTE performance.
