FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: collecting agent for coal floatation represents a hydrocarbon fraction boiling out at atmospheric equivalent temperature within 180-400°C and having the following characteristics: element composition, wt %: carbon - 81-84, hydrogen - 15-18, sulphur -<1, nitrogen - <0.5, density at 20°C, kg/m3, - 780-860, content of unsaturated hydrocarbons, wt %, - 90-100. The collecting agent obtaining method consists in high-temperature caking of heavy oil residues. Distillate oils of grades 40 and 100 are subject to caking at the temperature of 380-480°C, at pressure of 0.01-5 kgf/cm2, at bubbling with inert or natural gas. The process is performed till a mixture of light distillate products is removed from the reactor in the amount of 60-85 wt % of initial raw material. Then, distillate products are subject to degassing and rectification or distillation, and a middle-distillate fraction boiling out at atmospheric equivalent temperature within 180-400°C is obtained.
EFFECT: improving coal floatation efficiency; increasing yield of a flotation concentrate and reducing ash content of the flotation concentrate.
