FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for inhibiting atmospheric corrosion, corrosion in heat exchange equipment in the technical water supply systems, for preparation of cutting fluids (coolants) and interoperational protection of assembly units and parts made of ferrous and nonferrous metals. The inhibitor contains, by wt %: condensation product of boric acid with monoethanolamine and a mixture of fatty acids of saturated and unsaturated series with hydrocarbon radical C2-C6 at a molar ratio of 1:5:3, respectively, 20.0 - 25.0, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate 2.0 - 4.0 and the solvent to 100. At that as the solvent it contains water, waxy hydrocarbon fractions, or mineral oil.
EFFECT: product expansion of domestic water- and oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors, and increase of corrosion resistance of products of ferrous and nonferrous metals.
