FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method envisages crosshole seismology of wet oil-productive formation by seismic pulses of variable amplitude from one water hole and in neighbouring water holes placed along its perimeter, simultaneous measurement of time of seismic waves arrival which is used for plotting time-distance curves depending on their time of arrival and amplitude of seismic waves, and against minimum time-distance curve and minimum oscillation period in one direction of crosshole seismology assessment is made of passed oil availability between these holes.
EFFECT: improved reliability of bypassed oil detection in wet productive formations and reduced labour intensity.
