FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oilfield geophysics, to seismic methods of well survey for exploration and evaluation of volumes of hydrocarbons deposits and remaining non-existent. According to the proposed method, the excitation point is placed at first in one well, and points of reception in other several wells, both in excitation closest to the well, and remote from it. At that, the area sounding scheme is determined by the fact that the wells for receiving the seismic wave signal are selected in a number of wells of the signal reception in the vicinity of the excitation well, using the available well stock, with their gradual increase and distance from the excitation well with increase in the signal power, if necessary. Then, the excitation well is transferred to the other well in the deposit direction. According to the aggregate data, the boundaries of the hydrocarbon deposit location are determined as to the formation depth (thickness) and the area of the prospecting and delineation, and volumetric 3D display of the deposit is constructed, which is used to calculate the amount of hydrocarbons.
EFFECT: obtaining reliable and accurate information on fluid saturation of porous medium (in particular, on oil saturation) due to established effect of correlation between reduction of speed of propagation of seismic wave from source of its excitation to receiver at increase of signal amplitude, and also caused by composition of pore fluid.
