SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of generating animation effects on a three-dimensional (3D) display. The method includes selecting a visual multimedia object for display, detecting an area of interest on the multimedia object and calculating features thereof, building a 3D scene containing said multimedia object, generating a set of 3D visual object of an animation effect in the scene according to the areas of interest and the features thereof, performing successive conversion of the 3D objects in a space of the scene and the scene itself.

EFFECT: providing automatic generation of 3D animation effects on an image in real time.
