FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: low load current to input signal allows excluding power supply source from the galvanically isolated voltage comparator. The comparator comprises an adjustable stabilitron H142EH19, a diode optron, CMOS microcircuit with Schmitt trigger. The level of input voltage comparison is set by a high-ohmic resistor divider connected by its middle output to the base of the adjusted stabilitron. The cathode of optron LED is connected to the cathode of the adjusted stabilitron while the anode through a current-setting resistor is connected to the comparator input signal. Schmitt trigger of CMOS microcircuit serves as an amplifier of the optron signal.

EFFECT: development of galvanically isolated voltage comparator that does not demand a galvanically isolated voltage supply source.
