SUBSTANCE: castings are loaded in the container and backfilled with carburising compound, as the carburising compound a mixture of charcoal and spent paraffin-stearinic composition is used in ratio (2.3-2.5):1, and quantity of the carburising compound is 20-25% of charge volume.
EFFECT: improvement of quality protection of the steel castings against decarburisation, in particular minimisation of thickness of decarburised layer.
