FIELD: automotive industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns internal combustion engine repair or tuning. A sleeve assembly comprises a cylinder 1, a piston 3 with piston grooves 4 and 5, compression rings 6 and 7 mounted in the piston grooves and having take-ups 8 and 9, latch elements 10 and 11, which lock the compression rings 6 and 7 to the piston 3 and inserts 13 and 14, respectively; the inserts are arranged in hollows 15 and 16 on a side surface of the piston 3 between the piston grooves 4 and 5; the hollows 15 and 16 are arranged so that an expansion gap 21 of the compression ring is provided in between and opposite the latter expansion gap 22 of the compression ring 7. A hole border of the take-ups 8 for 9 for the latch elements 10 and 11 in each compression ring 6 and 7, respectively is spaced at N from the expansion gap. A length of each finished insert 13 and 14 makes the distance L between the compression ring 6 and 7, while a diameter of the cylindrical surfaces 25 and 26 is equal to the piston diameter Dn, while the surfaces 27 and 28 forms an angle a, which is equal to 100°. The side surface of the piston 2 bears cylindrical take-ups 30, 31 and 32, 33. The piston groove 34 has elongated piston ring holes 35 extended along a side surface generator 3; a length of the holes makes three times their width. The piston machine is also provided with oil lubricant in sufficient amount and revitalisant. The piston machine operates on a known principle.

EFFECT: take-ups provided on the insert provides firmer adherence of the insert to the cylindrical surface of the cylinder at the early seating; feeding revitalisant to fenian surfaces of the sleeve assembly while running the piston machine provides generating a superstrength surface, restores the configuration of the cylinder surface and increases the reliability and durability of the piston machine.
