FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to oil treatment including the treatment from hydrogen sulphide and mercaptans and may be used in the gas and oil producing industry. The invention is referred to the method that includes stages of desalination and treatment from hydrogen sulphide and mercaptans by contacting with aqueous solutions of alkali agents, oxidation of produced hydrosulphides and mercaptides by a 0.1-1.2% solution of hydrogen peroxide, separation of hydrocarbon and aqueous phases wherein the aqueous solution comprises 0.02-1.0% of calcium hydroxide, up to 0.95% of sodium hydroxide, ammonia, amines or their mixtures.
EFFECT: performance of deodorising treatment with minimal losses of hydrocarbons and low energy costs directly in field conditions.
