FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves casting of hollow ingots by electroslag remelting with dimensions of 490×in290×3000±25 mm, their turning and boring to hollow cakes with dimensions of 480×in300×3000±25 mm, heating to the temperature of 1130-1150°C and rolling on pilger mills using backing carbon rings to semi-finished hot-deformed tube workpieces with dimensions of 338×25×11800±100 mm. Rolling of tube workpieces is performed in a 340 mm pass on mandrels with a diameter of 282/286 mm with drawing µ=4.35, by swaging as to diameter Δ=29.2% and supply of hollow cakes to the deformation zone m=16-18 mm. After removal of process wastes tube workpieces are straightened in a six-roll straightening machine, cut into two tube workpieces with dimensions of 338×25×5900±25 mm, turned and bored to tube workpieces with dimensions of 325×12×5900±25 mm. Tubes are rerolled on KHPT tube cold-rolling mills on routes 325×12×5900±25 --- 273×8×10000±40 --- 219×5×19400±80 mm. Tubes with dimensions of 219×5×19400±80 mm are cut into two tube workpieces with dimensions of 219×5×9700±40 mm and rolled on a KHPT 250 mill to tube workpieces with dimensions of 194×3.5×15300±60 mm, which are cut into two tube workpieces with dimensions of 194×3.5×7650±30 mm and rerolled on the KHPT 250 mill to marketable tubes with dimensions of 150×2×16800±70 mm.
EFFECT: improving tube accuracy as to a diameter and a wall.
