FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a manufacturing method of hexagonal pipe workpieces with flat-to-flat dimension of 181.8±0.4×3.5+0.3/-0.2×3750+20/-0 mm from steel grade “12Х12М1БФРУ-Ш” for fast neutron NPP reactors. Hollow ESR ingots with the size of 490×in290×2850±25 mm are turned and bored into hollow cakes with the size of 480×in300×2850±25 mm, heated up to the temperature of 1130-1150°C, rolled on pilger mills into semi-finished hot-deformed pipe workpieces with the size of 338×25×11200±100 mm in the gauge of 340 mm on mandrels with diameter of 282/286 mm with drawing µ=4.35, swaging as to diameter of Δ=29.2% and supply to deformation zone m=18-20 mm. Process wastes are removed from pipe workpieces by means of a hot cutting saw, straightened in a six-roll straightening machine, cut into two pipe workpieces with the size of 338×25×5600±50 mm, bored and turned into pipe workpieces with the size of 325×12×5600±50 mm, re-rolled on ХПТ450 and ХПТ250 mills along routes of 325×12×5600±50 - 273×8×9600±85 - 250×5×16300±150 mm. Pipes with the size of 250×5×16300±150 mm are cut into pipe workpieces with the size of 250×5×9200±75 mm and 250×5×7100±75 mm, which are rolled on ХПТ250 mill into pipe workpieces with the size of 202×3.5×15800±130 and 202×3.5×12100±130 mm respectively, shaped in a shaping mill 400 into hexagonal pipes with flat-to-flat dimension of 181.8±0.4×3.5+0.3/-0.2×15800±130 mm and 181.8±0.4×3.5+0.3/-0.2×12100±130 mm and cutting of pipes is performed into equal hexagonal pipe workpieces with the size of 181.8±0.4×3.5+0.3/-0.2×3750+20/-0 mm.
EFFECT: production of hexagonal pipe workpieces with the specified geometrical flat-to-flat dimensions and reducing coefficient of metal consumption.
