SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a high-pressure compression unit for working fluid medium. The unit includes at least the first compression device (C) having a possibility of compressing the working fluid medium from initial gaseous thermodynamic state (Pi, Ti) to intermediate thermodynamic state (P1, T1), pump (P) mechanically attached to the first compression device (C), and an external cooling device having a possibility of compressing the working fluid medium from the above said intermediate thermodynamic state (P1, T1) to final thermodynamic state (Pf, Tf), engine (M) having a possibility of bringing into action the above said first compression device (C) and pump (P), and housing (3) working under pressure, in which at least the above said first compression device and pump (C, P), which are mechanically attached to each other, are located.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing efficiency of a compression unit.
