SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometeorology, namely the technical means and measures to influence the slope processes with the purpose of warning the descent of avalanches by firing snow slopes from guns and mortars. The avalanche protection complex comprises a gun, a machine placed on the support plate with the ability of free rotation around the vertical axis, consisting of a base, two side walls between which a swinging part of the machine is placed, comprising the barrel with breech, a locking mechanism and a trigger and striking mechanism. The machine is provided with mechanisms of aiming, clamps of angular position and the angular scales of pointing in azimuth and angle of elevation. The gun barrel comprises the attachment lugs of elements of the swinging part of the machine placed along the length. In front of the side walls of the machine on its base there are two arcuate guides, each of which comprises an arcuate slot located concentrically relative to the axis of rotation of the swinging part of the machine, and the aiming mechanism of the gun barrel on the angle of elevation comprises a toothed profile located on the outer contour of one of the arcuate guides, and a gear wheel connected with it, with the hand gear. The reference scales of the azimuth and the angle of elevation are placed respectively on the surface of the machine base and the side surface of one of the arcuate guides.

EFFECT: simplified design of the gun is achieved, weight reduction and the complexity of the maintenance, as well as improvement of safety and efficiency.
