SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a differential fitted by a housing for pinion installation. The differential (10) includes a casing (50), a side gear (32) with helicoid end, a helicoid pinion (24) interacting with the side gear (32) and a housing (12) for the installation of the pinion. The housing (12) has the first face surface (16), the second face surface (18) set opposite the first face surface (16), the first projection (20) set on the first face surface (16), the second projection set on the second face surface (18). Versions of the invention implementation imply that the differential (10) additionally comprises an actuating mechanism (36) to be engaged with the housing (12), and a variety of friction plates (48) set between the actuating mechanism (36) and the casing (50) of the differential. The housing (12) also includes a hole (26) passing inside radially from the outer radial surface of the ring rim, and a channel (30) passing from the first face surface (16) to the second face surface (18) coaxial with the hole (26) in radial direction.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the strength and expanding the range of torque changes.
