FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hoisting cranes and methods for their adjusting. The hoisting crane includes chassis, ground engagement elements, rotary base, boom installed with possibility to rotate on the first end on rotary base, with hoisting winch rope running alongside of the second boom end, boom lifting mechanism, and boom lifting assistance structure connected with the boom. The boom lifting assistance structure contains at least one ground engagement element having contact with ground and one boom lifting element running between ground engagement element of boom lifting assistance structure and the boom. The boom lifting element supports at least part of boom weight. Hoisting crane adjustment provides: a) attachment of the first boom end to rotary base and boom formation, in this process, the boom goes away from rotary base being parallel to ground and is supported in multiple points on ground, b) installation of boom lifting assistance structure between ground and the boom, c) joint use of boom lifting assistance structure and boom lifting mechanism to turn the boom relative to its point of connection with rotary base, as a result of which the boom is lifted from its first position where the boom has a support on ground to its second position where the boom is lifted at the first angle relative to ground surface to provide adequate boom reserve, and d) use of boom lifting mechanism to raise the boom to the second angle, which is more steep than the first angle where boom lifting assistance structure does not have any contact with ground.
EFFECT: improved crane stability and reduced structural components loading.
