FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressible stoppers for use in cranes. The stopper has a cover with the first sealed end, second end and internal surface, which has the first cylindrical surface and the second cylindrical surface, free piston, compressed gas chamber in the cover between the free piston and the first sealed end, rod with the cylindrical section with the diameter less than the diameter of the second cylindrical surface, and the rod bearing section. The rod goes out from the second end of the cover with a sliding sealed engagement. The rod bearing section is entered with a possibility of sliding into the cover and separates the volume between the free piston and the second end of the cover into the first liquid chamber, containing a volume inside the cover between the free piston and the rod bearing section, and the second chamber with a space between the rod bearing section and the second end of the cover. The rod bearing section contains at least one channel allowing a fluid to flow between the first and the second liquid chambers, when the rod bearing section slides inside the cover.
EFFECT: compressible stoppers are usable as stops in cranes.
