FIELD: physics, signalling.
SUBSTANCE: invention primarily relates to signalling systems and can be used for rapid notification of interested persons and specialised services on security threats for subscribers during movement thereof in underground mine tunnels. The alarm system is characterised by that it is provided with a laser range-finder which is rigidly mounted in the mine tunnel and optically connected through a system of reflectors with a triple prism to allow transmission of information to a control centre, wherein a laser beam has a visible spectrum and is transmitted such that it can be interrupted by a self-contained portable subscriber device.
EFFECT: simple design.
