FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio search technologies used in finding of high-jacked vehicles. vehicle is furnished with mobile communication terminal with SIM-card. After-jacking of car, messages with activating code is sent from mobile telephone of Used or form tracking center by mobile cellular communication network. Message is received by mobile cellular communication terminal code is converted into command to prepare activation of radio beacon concealed on board the vehicle. Alarm signals are radiated by radio beacon, and information on location of high jacked vehicle is received in direct action dispatcher center. Bashing on received information, target indications are formed and transmitted to direct action vehicle to approach to high jacked at distance providing possibility of direction finding. Bearings of radio beacon are taken to located high-jacked car. Design peculiarity of proposed method is that terminal of mobile cellular communication is switched on in preset moments for time period required for setting up communication with base stations of mobile cellular communication network and receiving message with activating code from said station. The rest of time said mobile cellular communication terminal is kept on duty with supply disconnected. Messages confirming that radio beacon is ready for activation are sent to direct action dispatcher center and to car Used or to tracking center by mobile cellular communication network. Information concerning location of high-jacked car to form target indication is received on inquiry direct action dispatcher center and from car Used or from tracking center by locating SIM-card in mobile cellular communication network.
EFFECT: provision of efficiency radio search of high jacked cars even in cases when criminals have neutralized security antitheft system of car.
