FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: braking device includes drive, mounting bracket, lever fixed on the first pivot pin, brake shoe holder, brake shoe and flange lubricator. The brake shoe holder is pivotally connected by the second pivot pin with the lever with possibility of lateral shift of brake shoe. The flange lubricator comprises lubricating rod including lubricating element made with one lengthwise bore communicated with means for feeding lubricant to lubricated surface of wheel flange. Lubricating element is rigidly fixed in end flange. The end flange is installed on cylindrical guide with possibility of lubricating element turning around it. The lever is made double-armed with arms being located at an angle α. The lever is fixed on the first pivot pin of mounting bracket. One lever arm is connected by the second pivot pin with brake shoe holder, and the second lever arm is connected by the third pivot pin with drive stem with possibility of brake shoe delivery to wheel tread and wheel braking or brake shoe withdrawal by means of spring installed on drive stem. Lubricating rod is fixed on mounting bracket on one or both butt ends of mounting bracket for wheel flange lubrication from one or two ends of brake shoe.
EFFECT: design simplification, increase in life time of braking device and decrease in wear rate of tread and flange of running wheels.
