FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: lubricating rod contains element made with longitudinal hole communicating with facility for supplying lubricant to lubricated surface. This element is rigidly fixed in end flange. The end flange is fixed on lever with possibility to be rotated in the plane parallel to longitudinal hole axis and the lubricating element to be pressed to lubricated surface and rotated in the plane perpendicular to axis lubricating element longitudinal hole. The end flange is provided with valve closing lubricant input when there is no pressure in pipeline. The lever contains controlled drive for rotation in the plane parallel to axis of lubricating element longitudinal hole.

EFFECT: higher reliability of lubricating rod especially at low temperature, increase in safety of railway traffic and efficiency of lubricating rod operation.
