FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: conversion section (20) is designed with a possibility of conversion by means of switching of a number of power switching devices (Sr, Ss, St, Su, Sv, Sw, Sx, Sy, Sz) from AC power supply (6) into AC power with the -preset frequency for output of AC power into the electric motor (5). The controller (40) is designed with a possibility of torque control in such a manner that the output torque of the electric motor (5) contains the pulsing power supply component representing the pulsing component with the frequency, multiple to the frequency of output voltage of AC power supply (6). The output torque of the electric motor (5) changes according to change of the torque of the electric motor load (5).
EFFECT: controller is designed with a possibility of obtaining of peak value of the current when the moment of peak value of the pulsing component of the power supply and the moment of peak value of the pulsing component of the load torque coincide or nearly coincide with each other, and reduction of range of change of the output torque in such a manner that the peak value of current doesn't exceed the pre-set top limit.
