FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to working roller to be used for withdrawal of pelletised material under high pressure. Said roller comprises shaped bodies extending from its main part surface. At least, a portion of shaped bodies have through cavity expanding in radial direction of working roller. Shaped body height-to-width ratio (h:b) makes 1.5 or less. Proposed process consists in that any material is removed from shaped body through cavity to extract shaped body with the help of appropriate tool. Working roller main part shapes are recovered by machining to deepen the bores to fitting said shaped bodies in. New shaped bodies or used shaped bodies suitable of use are fitted. Said through bores are filled with bodies. Note here that the tool is fitted in said through cavity of shaped bodies or grips said shaped bodies. At machining, main part of working roller is slightly decreased in size, if required.

EFFECT: improved operation of roller press.
