SUBSTANCE: joining method for metal pipes involves the installation of a backing bush in the welded joint zone and making of a welded seam at a pipeline. In the welded joint zone of the pipes the backing bush clad by a corrosion resistant steel shell is installed, its ends are inserted in the gaps formed by the ends of metal pipes and the corrosion resistant steel bushes by which the ends of plastic pipes are fixed. The ends of the backing bush are connected to the ends of metal pipes and corrosion resistant steel bushes by means of a sealant or sealing rings or simultaneously both the sealant and the sealing rings.
EFFECT: improved corrosion protection efficiency for pipeline welded joint.
