SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital shooting and digital image processing. One version discloses an optical display system which includes an objective lens, first and second image sensors with different dimensions, a beam splitter and at least one optical element between the beam splitter and the second image sensor. The beam splitter directs light in a first and a second wavelength range to the first and second image sensors, respectively. The optical element comprises one Fresnel lens and a diffractive optical element (DOE). A camera, which captures a three-dimensional image, includes an optical display system, a light source, an image signal processor (ISP) and a control unit. The processor forms a three-dimensional image from images from the first and second image sensors. The control unit controls operation of the light source and the ISP.
EFFECT: reduced volume and weight of the camera, reduced production costs.
