FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to on-board information systems of aerial vehicles, namely, to collimator indicators on the windshield. The collimator comprises a light source (1), a digital micro-mirror apparatus (2), an objective (3), an intermediate screen (4), an optical system (5), a mirror (6), and unifiers (7) and (25). The objective transfers the image formed by the digital micro-mirror apparatus to the intermediate screen installed perpendicular to the optical axis of the image. The optical system collimates the image on the intermediate screen, and the mirror reflects the image to the unifier located at an angle to the optical axis. One of the polarisation films is adhered to the surface of the intermediate screen, and the other, with a direction of polarisation perpendicular to the direction of polarisation of the film adhered to the surface of the intermediate screen, is adhered to the surface of the unifier located further from the observer.
EFFECT: ensured parallelism of the rays forming the image and absence of a split image.
