FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: packaging sheet material (M) for producing a sealed package (1) of liquid food product is proposed. The packaging material (M) comprises one base layer (11) for providing rigidity, a number of laminated layers (12) covering both sides of the base layer (11), and a removable part (10, 10', 10", 10'", 10"", 10'"") which in use can be partially separated from the rest of the packaging material (M) along at least one arcuate line (20, 20'"") of the cut and bent to the zone (21, 81) of bending, extending between the opposite ends of the line (20, 20'"") of the cut, to clear the drain hole (9) from which the food product is poured from the package (1). The removable part (10, 10', 10", 10'", 10"", 10'"") comprises a central area (25) formed from a whole packaging material and which in use in any case remains attached to the rest of the packaging material (M) by permanent partition (26) formed by the zone (21, 81) of bending, and a peripheral area (27, 27', 27", 27'", 27"", 27'"") for interaction during cutting, extending around the part of the central area (25), comprising a line (20, 20'"") of the cut and comprising at least one preliminary laminated opening (30, 30', 30", 30'", 30a"", 30b"", 30c"", 30'""), which is formed by a through slot (31, 31', 31", 31'", 31a"", 31b"", 31c"", 31'"") formed in at least the base layer (1) and closed by one or more laminated layers (12).
