FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: when carrying out the method, gases to be purified are passed through gas channels of an electrical filter, formed by gas-permeable settling electrodes with discharge electrodes installed in between. The gases to be purified are ejected from one gas channel into an adjacent channel and back through the settling electrodes which are bulky. The flow section and volume of the electrodes are determined by mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: high efficiency of cleaning of gases.
