FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the purification of gases in electrostatic precipitators and can be used in power engineering, metallurgy, cement production and other industries. In a vertical tubular electrostatic precipitator, the precipitating and corona electrode is in the form of an electrical module, the corona electrode being smaller than the settling electrode and being mounted in at least one attachment device. Electrostatic precipitator is equipped with several racks of electrical modules, which consist of, at least, one electromodule connected by an inlet pipe to a contaminated gas chamber and a discharge port with a clean gas chamber and which are combined into at least two electrostatic precipitator sections. Means of shaking the electrodes are located at the junction of the electrical module with the inlet and outlet nozzles. Each section is equipped with an individual section for each section of the clean gas chamber connected by an individual gas flue to the exhaust gas outlet of the electrostatic precipitator, and the contaminated gas chamber is made common for all sections. Each individual flue gas duct of each individual chamber of purified gas is equipped with a shut-off device.
EFFECT: efficiency of electric gas cleaning increases with the considerable simplification of installation and commissioning works, as well as elimination of secondary entrainment of dust particles.
