FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: reusable portable self-contained pulsed solid laser is made as two matched assemblies and external resonator. One of assemblies is breakable (replaceable); it includes detonating fuse filled with xenon, exploding charge, breakable reflector and light-conducting plate in the body. The other assembly, solid one, consists of rugged body, light-carrying fibre and active element represented as a rod with plane parallel butt ends made of glass activated with Nd3+ placed perpendicular to detonating fuse. Inner surface of the rugged body has reflective coating and in combination with breakable reflector it forms an illuminator. The detonating fuse has a mirror inside, which reflects optical radiation from the burst wave front edge towards the active element. Charge body has plane of weakness at the point of planned breaking.

EFFECT: produced powerful pulsed laser irradiation with low beam divergence angle.
