FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: automated electric drive of a rolling mill comprises a setting unit (1), a voltage regulator (2), a limiting unit (3), a regulated delay unit (4), a current regulator (5), a linear dynamic link (6) with transmission function stated in the patent claim, a rolling speed sensor (7), a power amplifier (8), a current sensor (9), a voltage sensor (10), a DC motor (11). When rollers catch an ingot, the current of the electric motor is increased and a correction signal is generated, the signal acts at the current regulator input and facilitates the speed stabilisation and fast setting of the current required to create the rolling moment.
EFFECT: improved quality of regulation and reduced dynamic loads due to the limitation of oscillations caused by non-linear dependence of rolling moment on angular velocity of electric drive at the correction of electric drive current circuit.
