FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: water purification includes a housing in which there is a filter element. A bellows is placed over the filter element, where under the action of a spring, the bellows exerts pressure on the water to be purified, thereby increasing filtration throughput. The filter element is made of wood, e.g. birch, the fibres of which are directed along the filtration axis.
EFFECT: low cost, high quality and throughput of filtration.
