SUBSTANCE: device includes a body with a trough-shaped indentation covered with the upper grid, brush belts closed to form a ring and fitted onto the driving and the driven pulleys, a rotation drive and a device for the brush belts cleaning. The device additionally includes a support frame with cleaning modules that is installed within the device body; each cleaning module includes such module body, driving and driven pulleys mounted on the module body so that to enable rotation as well as brush belts tensioned onto the said pulleys. The footwear sole cleaning device includes resilient elements positioned in the indentations on the butt-end surfaces of the driving pulleys between the pulleys of adjacent modules with the driving pulleys with resilient elements forming a composite driving pulley mounted inside the support frame with the possibility of rotation and connected to the rotation drive shaft. There are projections and depressions of corresponding size on the butt-end contacting surfaces of adjacent modules' pulleys.

EFFECT: creation of cleaning surfaces of considerable length and ensuring uniform wear of cleaning elements as well as the design feasibility enhancement.
