SUBSTANCE: in a semi-lock for transfer of torque from a rotary head of a drilling unit to a hollow screw column there is a catcher in the form of a pointed rotation body, which has guide and aligning parts. With that, the catcher is arranged coaxially to a coupling in front of the inlet to its hole and installed on the end of the rod fixed in a cantilevered manner inside the coupling.

EFFECT: reduction of time spent on attachment of a coupling of the semi-lock to a nipple of the screw section of a hollow column, due to improvement of accuracy of mutual positioning of the nipple of the section relative to the coupling of the semi-lock.
