SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drilling tool, in particular to locking connections of drilling augers, pipes and rods. Said locking connection of drilling augers and pipes contains a coupling and a nipple connected by a cylindrical thread, provided with toothed lugs mated with each other with their working surfaces, they are made on the end surface of the ring elements, fixedly connected to the coupling and the nipple respectively. Further, the height of the toothed lug does not exceed the relationship between the progress of the thread and the number of the toothed lugs. Also, the working surface of the toothed lug is inclined to the plane of rotation. And the top of the acute angle of the inclination is directed in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation, and the aforementioned angle of the inclination and the angle of the elevation of the screw surface of the thread have values that exceed the value of the reduced friction angle of the “coupler-nipple” friction pair.

EFFECT: increase of the load capacity of the locking connection without increasing its diameter.
