FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: this invention notable differs from know designs in that it incorporates firs and second interfaces and switchboard. Proposed method notably differs from know processes in that includes comparison of gyromagnetic heading computed by filter with true magnetic heading obtained via said first and second interfaces. Difference between computed gyromagnetic heading and true magnetic heading are loaded into permanent memory of every measurement unit. Thereafter, aircraft is turned through angle multiple of 45 degrees to load said differences into permanent memory to be used aircraft flight.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of flight control owing to magnetometer calibration.
