SUBSTANCE: apparatus for installing a seismic cable at the sea bed for seismic-acoustic monitoring, which includes anchors which provide a working position of the seismic cable, a pressure-resistant housing with communication equipment inside, the inputs of which are connected to outputs of the corresponding seismic cables, is equipped with a set of positive buoyancy coils on are wound corresponding seismic cables with anchors tied at the end thereof, a surface unit for processing seismic-acoustic signals, connected by a cable with an optical link to the communication equipment in the pressure-resistant housing, wherein the anchors are equipped with a self-emergence system, and the pressure-resistant housing has negative buoyancy to operate as an extra anchor.

EFFECT: reducing time and expenses on installing seismic cables and enabling repeated unfolding, rolling and displacement thereof.
